WEATHER FORECAST

A sunny, cool morning again, with temperatures starting in the low

40s. The sun should warm us up nicely, somewhere into the high 60s. Parts

of Costa Mesa might even hit 70 in the early afternoon.

By the time the sun sets, though, it’ll be back in the 50s.

BOATING FORECAST

Light winds and waves throughout the day along the coastal waters. The

swell will be out of the west at four feet.

The outer waters also will be relatively calm, with winds from the

north and northeast at 10 to 20 knots and waves of one to three feet. The

swell will be from the northwest at seven feet.

SURF

Small waves again today with not much swell in the water. The shape

should be OK, especially if you can tuck down small enough to get under

the lip. If you see a four-footer heading your way, take it. It’ll be

about the best you find.
