BOATING FORECAST

A light westerly wind will dominate the day in the inner waters.

Expect 1-foot waves and a west swell of 4 feet. Not much change at night,

though a northeasterly wind will increase to 10 to 20 knots late tonight.

Stronger winds will be encountered on Saturday.

Out farther, a northerly wind will blow about 15 knots at the

strongest. Waves will be in the 2-foot range with a northwest swell of 7

feet. Later, the wind will become northerly, blowing 10 to 20 knots.

SURF

A northwest swell will unleash its moderate power today, unfortunately

creating surf only in the waist- to chest-high range. The best spots will

still only see shoulder-highs. The swell will fade Saturday, though

another similar moderate swell will come in on Sunday.
