Open house to welcome Newport Coast

Newport Coast residents can get up close and personal with

representatives of their new city government on Feb. 2 at an open house

from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Residents can meet representatives from the city’s

Community Services, General Services, Public Works, Utilities, Police and

Fire departments.

Information about DARE, animal control, lifeguards and other services

will be available. Children will get to see fire engines, police vehicles

and other equipment that will serve the Newport Coast community. The free

event, which will include cookies and punch, will be at the Newport Coast
