WEATHER FORECAST
Some drizzle might kick off the mostly cloudy morning today. But the
skies should part a bit this afternoon to allow the sun to shine in.
Highs will be in the low 60s in Newport-Mesa. Overnight, the lows should
dip into the mid-40s.
Thursday should be much sunnier, though it will be breezier and the
highs will remain in the low 60s while the lows will again hit the
mid-40s.

BOATING FORECAST
The westerly winds will blow a light 10 knots in the inner waters
today, with 1-foot waves and a west swell of 3 feet. The conditions will
stay consistent this evening.
Out farther, the northwesterly winds will blow 5 to 15 knots
throughout the day, with 2-foot waves and a northwest swell of 9 feet.
SURF
Most of today’s waves will be in the knee- to waist-high range. The
same can be expected early Thursday, though it should pick up a tad in
the late afternoon. On Friday, however, a new northwest swell will make
its way in and will provide some waist- to chest-highs. A slight increase
is expected Saturday.
