*Alta Mirano Drive: A scanner for a computer and luggage were reported
stolen from a residence in the 17800 block at 10:43 p.m. Dec. 26.
*Beach Boulevard: A man holding a paper was yelling inside a store in
the 17700 block at 4:32 p.m. Dec. 26.
*Bahama Lane: A male with no credentials was trying to sell something
in the 21600 block at 6:56 p.m. Saturday.
*Capstone Drive: A gold bracelet worth $1,200 was reported stolen in
the 6800 block at 9:43 a.m. Dec. 26.
*Dunbar Avenue: A woman saw workers from her neighbors’ house swimming
in her pool in the 5100 block at 1:30 p.m. Thursday.
*Dunbar Avenue: A gym bag and other items were stolen from a white
1994 Ford Thunderbird in the 5000 block at 3:20 p.m. Thursday.
*Hamilton Avenue: A guitar, stereo, speakers and sunglasses were
stolen from a black Chevrolet El Camino in the 9600 block at 2:20 p.m.
Sunday.
*Keelson Lane: A stereo, speakers and tools were taken from a blue
Honda Civic in the 17300 block at 12:57 p.m. Dec. 26.
*La Mesa Lane: A man found a window broken when he returned to his
residence in the 17400 block at 9:49 a.m. Sunday.
*Laurelhurst Drive: A resident found two screens at the back of the
house ripped out in the 6700 block at 10:22 a.m. Dec. 26.
*Magnolia Street and Atlanta Avenue: Eight males were throwing bottles
in a parking lot at 10:49 p.m. Thursday.
*Main Street: A man tried to kiss waitresses twice in a restaurant in
the 200 block at 5:42 p.m. Sunday.
*Newland Street: Someone was banging on a man’s front door and the
outside walls in the 18600 block at 9:06 p.m. Sunday.
*Pacific Coast Highway and Goldenwest Street: Five credit cards were
reported stolen from a 1999 GMC Sierra truck at 2:34 p.m. Dec. 26.
*Pacific Coast Highway: A drug sale going on behind a building was
reported in the 1400 block at 2:02 p.m. Dec. 26.
*Pearce Street: Someone was seen banging on several apartment doors in
the 5000 block at 8:14 p.m. Friday.
*Richmond Circle: Three young boys were seen trying to break into a
residence and break a basketball hoop at the residence in the 21200 block
at 4:38 p.m. Thursday.
*Saluda Circle: Hand tools were stolen from a garage in the 21600
block at 2:29 p.m. Saturday.
*Skylab Road and Springdale Street: Two males were seen digging in the
middle of the road and opened up a manhole cover at 7:39 a.m. Thursday.
*Softwind Drive: Three adults were seen digging through a neighbor’s
trash cans in the 6100 block at 4:42 p.m. Dec. 26.
*Springdale Street: A soccer player head-butted another player in the
15800 block at 2:14 p.m. Friday.
*7th Street: A man was seen staggering and hiding behind a trash
container in the 400 block at 2:44 a.m. Saturday.
*3rd Street: Oil was reported stolen from the Southern California Gas
Company in the 300 block at 1:10 p.m. Thursday.
*Toulouse Street: Tools were stolen from a garage in the 7300 block at
1:27 p.m. Friday.
*Warner Avenue: A man seen wearing a hard hat, black jacket and jeans
was walking around saying rocks were going to fall from the sky in the
6900 block at 9:57 p.m. Thursday.
*Williams Avenue: A man was seen swinging a shovel at another man in
the 700 block at 10:24 p.m. Saturday.
*Winslow Drive: A man hid the bike he was riding and himself in the
bushes in the 6300 block at 9:27 p.m. Sunday.
*Utica Avenue: A vehicle was seen driving in an empty dirt field in
the 200 block at 12:13 a.m. Sunday.
