WEATHER FORECAST

Clear skies and warmer temperatures will reign today. Expect highs in

the mid-60s in Costa Mesa and about 62 in Newport Beach. It may feel a

bit warmer at the top of the afternoon. With those clear skies also come

cooler temperatures. Lows will be in the mid-40s tonight.

Expect similar conditions Saturday. Enjoy the weekend.

BOATING FORECAST

The winds will blow light in the inner waters today, with 1-foot waves

and a west swell of 3 to 7 feet. Not much will change tonight.

Out farther, the northerly winds will blow their typical 10 to 15

knots, with waves of 1 to 2 feet and a west swell of 8 to 10 feet. Later,

the winds will ease to 10 knots, and the swell will decrease to 7 knots.

SURF

While today will begin much like Thursday, with waves in the

chest-high range, it will begin backing down this morning into the

waist-high range. Saturday will present similar surf. Conditions should

begin to pick up again on Sunday.
