Baseball: Lions top Whittier
WHITTIER - The Vanguard University baseball team gave Coach Kevin
Kasper his 100th career win in dramatic fashion Tuesday night with a 9-7,
10-inning win over host Whittier.
Sam Baeder’s two-run home run in the 10th inning broke the 7-7 tie. He
finished the game 3 for 5 with two runs scored and two RBIs.
Andy Riddell went 2 for 4 with two runs scored, while Anthony Walker
chipped in three hits for the Lions (3-2).
