COSTA MESA
* Harbor Boulevard: A burglary was reported in the 2800 block at 6:57
p.m. Thursday.
* Harbor Boulevard: A petty theft was reported in the 3500 block at
5:19 p.m. Thursday.
* Mendoza Drive: Police responded to a report of a vehicle burglary in
the 2900 block at 8:30 a.m. Thursday. A portable CD player and other
items were taken.
NEWPORT BEACH
* Birch Street: A commercial burglary was reported in the 4800 block
at 4:25 p.m. Friday. An unknown suspect entered an unsecured building and
took 33 uninstalled faucets, 12 uninstalled sinks and nine sink
strainers.
* East Coast Highway: A petty theft was reported in the 3500 block at
12:58 p.m. Friday. A wallet was taken.
* Galaxy Drive: Police responded to a report of a home burglary in the
1500 block at 7:39 p.m. Friday. Silverware and jewelry were taken.
* Newport Center Drive: Police responded to a report of a grand theft
in the 1100 block at 2 p.m. Saturday. The victim lost a jacket and
sunglasses.
* South Jefferson: Police responded to a report of a terrorist threat
in the 600 block at 11:45 p.m. Friday. The suspect left a voicemail
message threatening to kill the victim.
