* Puffin Avenue: Police responded to a report of a missing juvenile in

* Ward Street: A disturbance of the peace was reported in the 18000

block at 2:27 a.m. Sunday.

* Adams Avenue: It was reported that forged checks were being used in

the 8000 block at 11:42 p.m. Monday.

* Beach Boulevard: A resident told police that the sister of his

ex-wife was making repeated annoying and threatening phone calls to his

residence in the 16000 block at 3:28 p.m. Jan. 24.

* Beach Boulevard: Vandalism was reported in the 17000 block at 12:22

a.m. Saturday.

* Edinger Avenue: A man described as wearing a navy blue hooded

sweatshirt and blue jeans reportedly tried to snatch a woman’s purse in

the 7000 block at 11:39 p.m. Jan. 24.

* Fir Drive: Police responded to a report of a family disturbance in

the 7000 block at 2:33 a.m. Sunday.

* Florida Street: Police officers responded to a disturbance of the

peace after a woman reportedly threatened to harm her neighbor living in

the 2300 block at 4:57 p.m. Jan. 22.

* Ganges Lane: Four males with shaved heads were reported going

through a number of storage cupboards above the parking stalls of a

residential structure in the 16000 block at 11:01 p.m. Jan. 23.

* Gothard Street: Police were called when a fight broke out in the

17000 block at 8:42 p.m. Friday.

* Hoff Street: A fireworks disturbance was reported in the 7000 block

at 9:15 p.m. Monday.

* Koledo Lane: Police responded to a report of shots fired in the

17000 block at 7:46 p.m. Jan. 22.

* Lowide Crescent: Possible gunshots were heard by residents in the

7000 block at 9:18 p.m. Friday.

* Parkside Lane: An explosion that occurred at 9:56 p.m. in the 16000

block Sunday was loud and disturbing enough for residents to call the

police to investigate.

* Santa Barbara Lane: Police responded to a vehicle burglary in the

16000 block at 8:18 p.m. Saturday.

* Slater Avenue: Vandalism was reported in the 7000 block at 9:58 p.m.

Friday.

* Whitetree Circle: Police officers responded to a family disturbance

at a residence in the 20000 block at 9:13 p.m. Jan. 23.

* Woodside Circle: A resident told police someone had apparently drove

by a house while shooting a weapon twice, breaking a front window and

scaring a family in the 6000 block at 3:46 p.m. Jan. 25.

* Yorktown Avenue: Police received a report of counterfeit money being

used after a man, described as 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighing 165 pounds

and wearing gray shorts, reportedly tried to use a fake $5 bill at an

establishment in the 9000 block at 6:33 p.m. Jan. 25.
