Women’s soccer: OCC handles El Camino
COSTA MESA - Renee Gomez scored two second-half goals to lift the
Orange Coast College women’s soccer team to a 3-1 nonconference win over
visiting El Camino Wednesday afternoon.
OCC (2-0) trailed early, but Andrea Corkhill’s goal before the end of
the first half tied the score.
Gomez already has four goals for the season, while Corkhill (Newport
Harbor High) and Maral Boghous each have three.
Amanda Bell had three saves for Coast, including a diving deflection
in the first half.
OCC will host San Diego Mesa Friday at 3 p.m. in a nonconference
