Principles for establishing a healthy and open marriage will be

discussed this fall in Orange Coast College’s three-unit sociology course

titled “Marriage and Family Life.�

Listed as Sociology 110 in the class schedule, three different

sections of the 16-week course begin Monday. The class will meet mornings

and evenings.

A functional “how-to� self-help course, lecture topics include: the

changing norms of man-woman relations; theoretical background for being a

healthy person; parent-child relations and how to improve them; the uses

and abuses of anger; human sexuality; divorce; and love.

Registration is underway. Fall enrollment fees are $11 per unit. The fall schedule is also listed on the college’s Web page at o7
