Girls basketball: Mesa beaten by Capistrano Valley
MISSION VIEJO - Capistrano Valley High used a strong first half of
basketball to knock off visiting Costa Mesa, 59-26 in nonleague girls
basketball action Tuesday.
Jenny Earnest scored 12 points to lead the Mustangs (3-2), who were
outscored 35-11 in the first half.
Nikki Howard scored 22 to lead the Cougars.
Next up for the Mustangs, they play against Ontario High in the
Artesia Tournament at the Hawaiian Gardens Community Center Friday at
4:55 p.m. NONLEAGUE
