Vanguard loses to UCSD
LA JOLLA - NAIA member Vanguard University’s women’s basketball
team lost its second game of the season to NCAA Division I host
University of California at San Diego, 70-53, on Saturday.
Kelly Boeke and Laura Lee scored 13 and 11 points respectively for the
Lions (6-2). But UCSD’s Natalie Beaver scored 31 points, hitting 7-of-10
three pointers, to pace the Aztecs’ victory. Robbin Dittenbir got 12
rebounds for Vanguard.
