Roller hockey: NH rolls past CdM

NEWPORT BEACH - Mike Brownell and Chris Acosta each scored three

goals to lead Newport Harbor High’s varsity club roller hockey team to an

11-1 win over Corona del Mar Tuesday.

Dane Barton and Jason Spenser each scored twice and Dan Santolucito

added another goal for the Sailors.

Barton and R.J. Rutter each had two assists, while strong defense was

turned in by Dan Olinger.

Goalie James Egan had seven saves for the Sailors.

For the Sea Kings, Blake Smith scored the team’s lone goal, assisted

by David Bolton and Ben Wynkoop had nine saves in goal.
