Scott Frisbie, 39, a Newport Beach resident, has been elected president

of the McDonald’s Operator’s Association of Southern California Board of

Directors. His one-year term runs through June 2000.

Frisbie will preside over the 11-member board, which deals with

advertising, marketing, promotional and public relations activities in

Southern California. Frisbie has served on the board for the last two

“I’ve been part of the McDonald’s family ever since my father bought our

family’s first restaurant in 1975,” Frisbie said, referring to Jim

Frisbie’s purchase of a Placentia McDonald’s. “I am now very proud to

serve as board president and use my nearly 15 years of management

experience to help make decisions that will benefit McDonald’s

restaurants throughout Southern California.”
