Enjoy pancake breakfast at the fair

COSTA MESA — As if eating the classic combo of pancakes with maple syrup wasn’t good enough, doing it for a good cause is even tastier.

Residents can get their fill of the hearty breakfast food, or carbo-load before the OC Fair Fun Run, at the Centennial Farm Foundation’s pancake breakfast from 6:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. Aug. 7 near the Millennium Barn inside the OC Fair, 88 Fair Drive.

The foundation is raising funds to support the Centennial Farm, a 3-acre demonstration farm on the fairgrounds, and its year-round education programs to teach children the importance of agriculture.

The breakfast costs $7 a person, or $20 for three people. Tickets can be bought on the day of the event, or through a mail-in form online at https://www.ocfair.com/pancakebreakfast.
