Laguna police provide Christmas gifts to local underprivileged kids
- Share via
Laguna Beach police employees delivered some Christmas cheer to 20 preschoolers Dec. 18 at the Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach’s main branch along Laguna Canyon Road.
Each year, the police department adopts a class of underprivileged youth and purchases gifts — usually three presents per child, Capt. Jason Kravetz wrote in an email.
Each child’s photo, along with his or her name, age and favorite toys, is placed on a wall inside police headquarters and employees make their selections.
The kids, all Laguna Beach residents, received gifts such as dolls, clothes, race cars and board games.
