Readers React: Donald Trump is no LeBron James
To the editor: It’s worth noting that President Trump’s tirade against LeBron James was triggered by the latter’s legitimate and charitable use of his own private foundation to serve at-risk children. James is using his wealth to serve a public benefit.
In contrast, Trump’s charitable organization seemed largely devoted to paying his debts and helping his friends and allies. His charitable foundation had little or no public benefit and seemed to be a poorly disguised tax fraud.
Pretty clearly, James occupies the moral and intellectual high ground.

To the editor: There’s one thing that can be said about James’ I Promise School in Akron, Ohio, for at-risk children: It’s no Trump University.
