Readers React: Not missing the Dodgers on cable
Re “Squeeze play for Dodgers channel,†Column, June 10
I don’t know why the folks at Time Warner Cable thought that every cable subscriber in the Los Angeles area would be willing to pay $5 a month for the privilege of watching the Dodgers.
As they say, wishing doesn’t make it so. With the exception of the occasional World Series game, I haven’t watched baseball on TV since my high school days.
Make SportsNet LA an optional pay channel to help dig yourselves out of a bad deal, Time Warner, but don’t expect me to pay for something I don’t want. My cable bill is too expensive as it is.
