Letters: A conviction overturned, a life restored

Re “A new life in freedom,” Column One, Oct.17
I don’t typically send fan mail; I’m a little too old for that. But I just finished reading Maura Dolan’s story on George Souliotes and his 17 years behind bars.
I wanted to take a moment to compliment your reporter on such a thoughtful and well-written article.
She did a great job contrasting the pain of his past against his hopes for his future. I have only good thoughts for Souliotes and wish him the best.
