Letters: Phyllis Diller, a class act

Re “Outlandish comedian,” Obituary, Aug. 21
With electrically charged wigs and over-the-top get-ups, Phyllis Diller delivered one-liners in rapid-fire succession that people of all ages could enjoy. She didn’t rely on salty language or graphic sexual references, and she was never mean or nasty. What she provided us with was good, clean fun for more than half a century.
She was a class act right until the end.
