Photos: Summer solstice full ‘strawberry’ moon

The June full moon has traditionally been nicknamed the honey moon or the strawberry moon because of its large, reddish-amber appearance in the sky. On June 20-21, 2016, the month’s full moon fell on the first day of summer -- the summer solstice -- for the first time since 1948, according to the Old Farmer’s Almanac.
