2-year-old killed by alleged drunk driver in front of home
A 2-year-old girl was struck and killed by a possible drunk driver Friday night in Modesto.
Police say the girl was riding her scooter outside her home on Pine Street at 8:30 p.m. when she was hit.
The driver continued to his home a few houses down the block and went inside, according to officers.
He was arrested at his home on suspicion of DUI, according to Fox 40.
Investigators are now piecing together why the girl was outside alone at night. It’s unknown where her parents were.
