Body found in forest was decomposed, stuffed in bag, reports say
A body found in the Angeles National Forest afternoon was discovered badly decomposed and stuffed in a bag, according to media reports Thursday.
The body was found about 5:45 p.m. Wednesday after a utility worker smelled something “funny,†ABC7 reported, citing investigators.
Authorities recovered the body on San Francisquito Canyon Road, about five miles south of Spunky Canyon Road. The area is about 17 miles north of Castaic.
Homicide detectives with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department are investigating.
