Christopher Roman first heard about Skyline 2014 via his trusty Twitter newsfeed.

The free art show, composed of 10 experimental and interactive art installations showcasing Los Angeles’ ever-changing landscape, was available for public viewing from Feb. 13-22.

With his Nikon D7100, Roman photographed the silhouette of a fellow University of Southern California classmate in front of “Liminoid Gardenâ€, an exhibition by artist Filipa Valente at the Cooper Design Space.

“I think free cultural events such as Skyline are a major asset and a critical component of downtown’s continued revitalization,†Roman said.
