President Trump arrived at Los Angeles International Airport on Friday for a fundraising event and a dinner that are expected to cause some afternoon rush-hour delay.
First stop on the L.A. agenda is a a fundraiser in Beverly Hills.
A source told The Times he also plans to have dinner at the Trump National Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes. It’s unclear what route he will take to get there.
The city of Rancho Palos Verdes announced that parks and trails adjacent to the Trump golf course were closed at 1 p.m.

His trip has prompted a series of traffic advisories. Sunset Boulevard is scheduled to be closed from 1 to 7 p.m. between Foothill and Hillcrest roads in Beverly Hills. Foothill, and Elm and Maple drives are to be closed between Sunset and Elevado Avenue during this period as well.
Here are additional advisories:
2:30-3:30 p.m.: Bundy Drive around Pico Boulevard. This advisory probably involves Trump’s arrival through Santa Monica Airport.
3-4 p.m.: Sunset between Sepulveda Boulevard and Hillcrest.
6-7 p.m.: Sunset between Hillcrest and Sepulveda.
6:30-7 p.m.: Bundy around Pico.
The dinner in Rancho Palos Verdes would probably occur after the Beverly Hills fundraiser.
