Car-to-car drive-by shooting leaves one dead in Willowbrook
Sheriff’s officials said Saturday they were looking for at least one person in connection with a drive-by shooting in Willowbrook that left one person dead.
The shooting occurred Friday at about 4 p.m. in the 11700 block of East 117th Street in unincorporated Los Angeles County, according to a statement from the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department.

A witness told authorities that the victim, a 22-year-old man, was sitting in a car when a sport utility vehicle pulled up next to him and someone in the SUV shot into the car.
The victim was hit multiple times and taken to a hospital where he died, authorities said. The SUV fled the scene.
Sheriff’s officials said it was unclear if the shooting was gang-related.
