Metro bus, 2 vehicles crash in Burbank; 4 hospitalized
A pickup truck and a sports utility vehicle collided with a Metro bus Monday evening in Burbank, injuring four people, authorities said.
About 10 p.m., a Metro bus traveling southwest on Hollywood Way near Alameda Avenue was struck by the two vehicles, Burbank fire Capt. Peter Hendrickson said.
Of the 11 passengers on board the bus, two were taken to the hospital along with the bus driver, Hendrickson said. One of the other drivers was also hospitalized.
All the injuries in the crash were mild to moderate, Hendrickson said.
The cause of the crash is under investigation. Metro deployed a second bus to pick up the uninjured passengers.
