Naval Criminal Investigative Service agents are investigating the death of a sailor at North Island Naval Air Station in Coronado.
Demond Walker, a chief personnel specialist, was found dead at 5:50 a.m. Thursday in the Commander Naval Air Forces building complex. His name was released Friday after family members were notified.
No cause of death has been determined, the Navy said, although there are no indications of foul play.
Walker, a native of Richmond, Va., enlisted in 1995 and had deployed several times to Japan and also aboard the aircraft carrier George Washington.
