Los Angeles police say they have located a woman who they had initially believed was kidnapped from a business in Highland Park.

LL.A. Police Officer Jack Richter said the woman is in good condition.

Officers said it now appears that what they thought was a kidnapping was most likely a domestic incident.

Police said the woman was seen about 5:50 a.m. Dec. 20 after she exited a gray or silver sport utility vehicle in the 5600 block of York Boulevard.

After walking into a business and ordering coffee, police said, the woman sat down and appeared to be typing on her phone.

Moments later, she left the business and walked toward Avenue 56. An SUV then pulled up next to her and stopped abruptly, police said.

Officers said the woman ran into the business, but the driver jumped out of the SUV, followed her and threw her to the ground.

The man allegedly dragged the victim outside, where he appeared to argue with her before forcing her into the passenger seat and driving off.
