Man harassed 2 girls at Riverside County park, authorities say
Law enforcement authorities in Riverside County on Tuesday were seeking the public’s help in finding a man who harassed two underage females by making sexually suggestive comments.
The separate incidents took place Sept. 30 at Wolf Creek Park in Temecula and began when one of the girls encountered the man around 3:20 p.m.
After the man made his comments, the girl “fled the park frightened but unharmed,†the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said in a statement.
About 40 minutes later, another girl came to the park and was approached by the man. “The victim was frightened but was able to flee the park unharmed,†department authorities said in a statement.
The victims described the suspect as a Latino who spoke English with a “slight Spanish accent,†authorities said. He is 20 to 25 years old and is about 5 feet, 10 inches tall with a thin build.
He has short dark hair that was slicked back. His face is acne marked and he had a thin mustache and thin beard running along his jaw, authorities said.
The suspect was wearing a gray and purple short-sleeve shirt with stripes, dark pants and Vans sneakers.
