Federal prosecutors announced today a sweeping indictment against an East Los Angeles street gang tied to the Mexican Mafia prison gang. About 800 agents swarmed the Eastside to conduct searches and make arrests.

Details of the indictment filed in federal court were announced at the news conference, and officials said 25 members of the Big Hazard gang were arrested and at least 38 members were indicted. For more on this story, click here.
