Arson investigators at scene of West Hollywood office building fire

Arson investigators were at the scene of an early-morning fire at a West Hollywood office building.

Arson investigators are looking into the cause of a blaze that tore through a West Hollywood office building early Tuesday.

The blaze was reported around 2:30 a.m. at the corner of Santa Monica Boulevard and Croft Avenue, according to authorities.

Los Angeles and Beverly Hills fire departments assisted L.A. County firefighters in battling the blaze.

A witness, Mitch Jackson, told a KTLA-TV Channel 5 reporter that he saw someone who may have been responsible for setting the blaze.

“As I got to this corner, I heard glass breaking. I looked over and a guy was throwing something through the windows, and then the place just went up in flames,†Jackson said. “It just went up so fast.“

At least two firefighters have received minor injuries while fighting the blaze.

No other injuries have been reported.
