Father accused of abducting 14-month-old daughter
Los Angeles police are searching for a man who is accused of snatching his 14-month-old daughter Tuesday from her grandmother’s home, authorities said.
Around 4 p.m., Randy Green, 29, entered a home in the 3300 block of Stocker Place in Leimert Park and abducted his daughter, said LAPD Officer Jane Kim. A restraining order bars him from approaching his daughter or her mother, Kim said.
The child, Raniyah Green, is described as weighing 25 pounds and having black hair and brown eyes, Kim said. Police have not been able to locate her mother to inform her about what happened.
Green is believed to be driving a 2004 BMW with Calif. license plate 7GYU146. He’s described as a black man with black hair and brown eyes. He stands about 5 feet and weighs about 145 pounds, Kim said.
Green’s last known address is in the Moreno Valley, and investigators are unsure where he may have taken the girl, Kim said.
No Amber Alert has been issued at this time, Kim said.
