3.4 earthquake strikes near Rancho Tehama Reserve, Calif.

A shallow magnitude 3.4 earthquake was reported Saturday morning 22 miles from Rancho Tehama Reserve, Calif., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 6:11 a.m. Pacific time at a depth of 2.5 miles.
According to the USGS, the epicenter was 36 miles from Red Bluff, Calif., 48 miles from Chico and 51 miles from Ukia.
Another quake centered nearby struck less than two weeks ago.
