A vehicle carrying six disabled adults and two caretakers flipped onto its side Friday night on the northbound 405 Freeway in Mission Hills, but no one was seriously injured, authorities said.
The eight people were taken to local hospitals and were found to be in good condition, said Margaret Steward, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles Fire Department.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident, which was reported about 6:40 p.m. near the 118 Freeway interchange.
Investigators are looking into whether the driver may have lost control. Several lanes on the 405 were temporarily closed after the accident.
