Vehicle in 2-car crash in Canoga Park hits and kills bicyclist

A bicyclist was killed Thursday afternoon in Canoga Park after being struck by a car involved in a two-vehicle collision, authorities said.
The bicyclist was described as a woman in her 40s. No further information was immediately available, according to a Los Angeles Police Department traffic division officer.
The crash occurred about 4 p.m. at the intersection of Sherman Way and Shoup Avenue.
Police are still investigating the crash.
