Eleven people were hurt Friday evening when a car slammed into a Bay Area commuter bus, causing it to crash into a home.
Richmond police told the San Francisco Chronicle that a stolen vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed when it collided with the AC Transit bus, sending it into a home occupied by a mother and her two children.
The three suffered minor injuries and were taken to a hospital, according to the report.
The Contra Costa Times reported that the bus narrowly missed hitting a 3-month-old boy who sat in the living room in a bouncy chair.
Eight people, including the driver, aboard the bus were hurt but none seriously, according to ABC7.
