A man was arrested Thursday on suspicion of trying to kidnap a 3-year-old girl by reaching through the window of her family’s home, authorities said.
The attempted abduction occurred in the 24200 block of Arch Street in Newhall, said Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Deputy Josh Dubin.
The man, whose name was not released, was in sheriff’s custody, Dubin said.
The girl was unharmed and with her family, Dubin said.
