Earthquake: USGS withdraws report of 2.7 quake in San Dimas

The U.S. Geological Survey withdrew a report of a magnitude 2.7 earthquake initially reported Friday evening in San Dimas.

The USGS had earlier reported that a shallow temblor occurred at 7:34 p.m. Pacific time. The agency later announced the report was in error.

In the last 10 days, there have been no earthquakes of magnitude 3.0 or greater centered nearby.
