Earthquake: Magnitude 3.2 quake strikes in Sonoma County

A shallow magnitude 3.2 earthquake was reported Thursday afternoon three miles from Cobb, Calif., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 5:17 p.m. Pacific time at a depth of 1.2 miles.

According to the USGS, the epicenter was 13 miles from Clearlake, 15 miles from Healdsburg, 19 miles from Windsor and 72 miles from Sacramento.

In the last 10 days, there have been two earthquakes of magnitude 3.0 or greater centered nearby.
