Earthquake: 3.8 quake strikes near Ridgemark, Calif.

A shallow magnitude 3.8 earthquake was reported Wednesday evening 21 miles from Ridgemark, Calif., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 9:33 p.m. PDT at a depth of 6.2 miles.
According to the USGS, the epicenter was 24 miles from Hollister, Calif.; 24 miles from Soledad, Calif.; and 27 miles from Los Banos, Calif.
In the past 10 days, there has been one earthquake magnitude 3.0 or greater centered nearby.
