Earthquake: 2.8 quake strikes near Marina del Rey
A shallow magnitude 2.8 earthquake was reported Sunday evening one mile from Marina del Rey, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 8:06 p.m. Pacific time at a depth of 7.5 miles.
According to the USGS, the epicenter was two miles from El Segundo, three miles from Inglewood and three miles from Lennox.
In the last 10 days, there has been one earthquake magnitude 3.0 or greater centered nearby.
