UC Riverside Graduation

UCR — With flower bouquets, balloons, and leis in hand, family and friends headed a UC Riverside graduation ceremony Monday morning opened their bags and purses as if they were entering an airport security line. A bomb threat had prompted university officials to reschedule business administration students’ graduation from Friday night to Monday morning, and security guards weren’t taking any chances. Before entering a gated area, attendees guzzled beverages — banned from the ceremony — and left behind camera cases large and small. Even a giant stuffed Mickey Mouse got the pat down..
