Nurse practitioners: In the March 29 LATExtra section, an article about Los Angeles County’s expanding use of nurse practitioners for primary care said the American Assn. of Medical Colleges estimated that the national shortage of primary care physicians would reach 45,000 doctors by the end of the decade. The organization is the Assn. of American Medical Colleges.
Earthquake haiku: An article in the March 26 Section A about haiku inspired by the Japanese earthquake and its aftermath gave an incorrect name for a monk who composes such works. He is Yo Yasuhara, not Yasuharu You.
Film box office: The Movie Projector column in the March 25 Business section, forecasting the film box office for last weekend, weighed the prospects of new releases including “Sucker Punch.†The caption for a photo from that film misspelled the last name of actress Jena Malone as Malonet.
