Boys
San Pedro 105, Venice 78
Freshman Zack Murez timed 1:04.09 to win the 100 Breaststroke for Venice, but the Gondaliers (2-1) fell in a Marine Leauge meet against visiting San Pedro. Murez also placed second in the 50 Freestyle in 23.99 seconds, and was a member of the Gondoliers’ 200 Free relay team that won in 1:41.55.
Girls
Venice 109, San Pedro 66
Nicole O’Keeffe set a school record for Venice in winning the 200 Individual Medley with a time of 2:17.63, breaking an 11-year-old record set by Joy Krause. O’Keeffe also won the 100 Butterfly in 1:03.19, and anchored winning 200- and 400 Free relay teams for the Gondoliers (3-0).
