Cindy Trejo pitched a shutout and her eighth complete game, allowing six hits with five strikeouts, for Lincoln (8-1, 2-0), which scored on a throwing error in the sixth inning. Teammate Mayra Oliden had a single, two stolen bases and a game-saving diving catch. Melissa O’Connor pitched a five-hitter with nine strikeouts for host Eagle Rock (3-6, 1-1).

Canoga Park 6, Van Nuys 1
Stacy Milne (4-5) pitched a a two-hitter with 16 strikeouts and three walks and had three hits with two RBIs for visiting Canoga Park (4-5)
Granada Hills Kennedy 9, Cleveland 0
Marissa Trujillo had two hits, including a grand slam home run in the fifth inning, and five RBIs for host Kennedy (4-6).

Pitcher Fasha Snyder improved to 6-0 for host Sun Valley Poly (8-2).

Senior pitcher Cindy Vazquez (1-2) had seven strikeouts and had a three-run triple in the fourth inning and six RBIs for USC-MaST (1-2).

Amanda Steele hit a three-run home run in the fifth to lead host Westchester (5-4).

Senior centrefielder Nicole Castagnola went three for three, including a two-run triple during a four-run fifth inning for San Pedro (7-2). Junior short stop Stephanie Tam was two for four with a two-run homer in the third inning. Courtney Lyons (3-2) was the winning pitcher for San Pedro. She had five strikeouts and allowed only two hits.

Pauline Morquecho (6-0) threw a two-hitter for the second straight game and struck out 11 and Valerie Montenegro went two for three to lead visiting Birmingham (8-2). Carla Arreola singled in Kali Shepherd in the first inning for the only run of the game.
Bravo 5, Narbonne 1
Bravo improves to 3-3. Narbonne is 7-2.
L.A. University 15, Hollywood 2
Tai Sakamoto went three for three with three stolen bases, two RBIs and two runs scored and Nancy Morales had two doubles, two runs scored and three RBIs for host University (7-2).
Sun Valley Poly 10, Monroe 1
Vanessa Perez went two for four with two doubles and four RBIs and Maira Castanada (2-2) threw an eight-hitter and struck out five to lead host Sun Valley Poly (7-2) past Monroe (2-7).
Verdugo Hills 6, Venice 5
Tarrin Martin went two for four, including a triple and three RBIs, and Heather Kelley went two for three with a double to lead host Verdugo Hills (1-3). Ariella Guerra had a triple in the bottom of the fifth to put the Dons up, 6-5.

Cindy Trejo pitched two-hitter with no walks and Marcela Lopez had two triple and one RBI to lead host Lincoln (7-1, 1-0). Franklin is 3-2, 0-1.

Paulin Morquecho threw a two-hitter with seven strikeouts and no walks for her fourth shutout of the season to lead Birmingham (7-2), which scored on a throwing error in the third inning. Jennifer Hodrick had four strikeouts and no walks in seven innings for visiting Westchester (4-4).

Spechelle Vickers went two for three, including a two-run home run and three RBIs, and Andrea Smalls pitched five innings and struck out seven for visiting Dorsey (3-3). Erin Anderson retired the last six batters in a row and finished with five strikeouts for the Dons.

Eliana Murillo went four for four with three RBIs, Erika Alvarez went three for five with a three-run home run and Yvette Acuna added three hits, including a two-run homer, and three RBIs to lead host Garfield (10-1). Gardena is 6-1.

Courtney Lyons (2-2) pitched a five-hitter, striking out 10, and went two for four, and Joi Allen and Nicole Castagnola each had RBI singles in the top of the 10th to lead visiting San Pedro (6-2) over Peninsula (2-2).

Chanel Roehner tossed seven innings with nine strikeouts and went one for three with an RBI, and Amy Dolan had a triple and an RBI to lead host Simi Valley (4-1-1).

Sophomore left-hander Jessica Villegas (2-0) threw a four-hitter, striking out five and walking none, for visiting Bravo Medical (2-2).

Daisy Esqueda went two for three with four RBIs and Kaleigh Sanchez (2-3) pitched a three-hitter and struck out seven to lead visiting Granada Hills Kennedy (3-6).

Brittany Garland hit three home runs--a grand slam, a three-run shot and a solo homer and sisters Sarah and Jessica Maciel combined for a no-hitter for host Narbonne (8-1). Sarah Maciel (7-0) pitched a perfect game through five innings with 14 strikeouts and Jessica had six strikeouts in two innings for the Gauchos, who scored seven runs in the third inning and 10 runs in the fifth. Jefferson (1-2) had one base runner and committed four errors.
Reseda 24, Sherman Oaks CES 1 (5 innings)
Savannah Villalobos went three for four, including a double, triple and seven RBIs and Wendy Levine (1-2) pitched a one-hitter and struck out 11 to lead host Reseda (1-4) past Sherman Oaks CES (0-2).
Sylmar 4, El Camino Real 2
Francesca Enea was one for three with a two-run double for host El Camino Real (6-2). Sylmar improved to 4-0.
Venice 14, Dorsey 1
Senior right-hander Michelle Sierra pitched a three-hitter with six strikeouts and freshman Stephanie Slotnick hit a two-run home run for host Venice (7-5). Serena Dominguez had four RBIs for the Gondoliers.
