There’s a tiny house on wheels in Burbank — and you’ll definitely want to see it
Take a tour of the latest tiny house to hit the market as the Escape Traveler XL parks behind the Courtyard by Marriott in Burbank on Sunday and opens its doors for public tours.
The 319-square-foot travel trailer can sleep up to eight people and features a private queen-size bedroom, sleeping loft, living and dining rooms and full-size appliances including a washer/dryer.
(How do you get eight people in such a small space? Two in the bedroom, two upper lofts that each sleep two, and then two can sleep in the built-in, fold-out couch.)
It can also be customized to go off grid with add-ons such as a solar power system, composting or incinerating toilet, gray water system and rainwater collection systems.
The best part? It comes with its own trailer so you can take your home on the road with you.
Ready to move in? It starts at $78,500.
The Escape Traveler XL will be open for touring from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at 2200 W. Empire Ave. (behind the Courtyard by Marriott and next to Staples).
