Gladstone’s Malibu in Los Angeles had a reputation for stunning views yet sorry food and service. Owner -- and former Los Angeles mayor -- Richard Riordan brought in the SBE group to rehab it into something even the locals could like. Here’s a look at the new wave:
On the menu: An all-in seafood risotto made with seared scallops, shrimp, mussels, clams, andouille, mache and oven-dried tomatoes.
