Dine L.A. restaurant week, also known as your chance to try 20 restaurants on Jonathan Gold’s 101 Best Restaurants list on a budget, returns July 18. This year, the two-week, bi-annual event presented by the L.A. Tourism and Convention Board, has partnered with the California Avocado Commission. So there may be more avocado toast than you might already expect.

During the event, restaurants will offer $15, $20 or $25 prix-fixe lunch menus, and $29, $39 and $49 prix-fixe dinner menus.

Some of the chefs expected to showcase avocado on their Dine L.A. menus include Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger of Border Grill, Ted Hopson from the Bellwether, David LeFevre of M.B. Post, David Hands from Bouchon and Andrew Gavalla from Craft.

If you’re looking to make your way through every restaurant on Gold’s 101 list, the participating restaurants include Providence (No. 1), Spago (No. 3), Pizzeria Mozza (No. 6), Lucques (No. 8), Lukshon (No. 9), Alimento (No. 18), A.O.C. (No. 23), Redbird (No. 36), Pot (No. 37), Jar (No. 39), Melisse (No. 41), M.B. Post (No. 45), Sotto (No. 51), Connie & Ted’s (No. 55), Drago Centro (No. 64), Ledlow (No. 71), Plan Check (No. 75), Border Grill (No. 81), Craft (No. 83) and Valentino (No. 87). If you plan two meals a day at different restaurants, you should be able to make it through all of them.

And new to the Dine L.A. event this year is Josiah Citrin’s Charcoal Venice (Citrin is also the chef at the Santa Monica French restaurant Melisse) and K Ramen. Burger. Beer., a new restaurant by Katsuya at the Americana at Brand in Glendale.

Dine L.A. is also bringing back an exclusive series of dinners this year from Providence, Melisse, Spago, Alexander’s Steakhouse, Broken Spanish, Chaya Downtown, Cut by Wolfgang Puck, Patina Restaurant, Saddle Peak Lodge, Spago Beverly Hills, Steak & Whiskey, the Arthur J, the Bazaar by Jose Andres, the Royce, Wolfgang Puck at Hotel Bel-Air and WP24 by Wolfgang Puck, all priced at $95.
